• Disclose your Personal Information to a CRB to obtain a credit report on your behalf. In doing so we will be acting in our capacity as an access seeker;
• Use any Personal Information a CRB provides in that report to assist us to preliminarily assess your consumer credit or guarantor application; and
• Request a CRB to provide us with an assessment of whether the Personal Information provided to us matches (in whole or part) the Personal Information contained in a credit information file, thereby verifying your identity.

If you do not wish for us to verify your identity in this way, please contact us so that we may identify you by other means.

Disclosures – Credit Providers
We may submit your application to one or more credit providers. Please refer to the “Our Lenders” section in the Credit Guide document for the list of credit providers we may use.

We may undertake tasks that are reasonably necessary to the application process. We will assist in managing the application process with a credit provider.

If a credit provider holds credit eligibility Personal Information the provider, must, on request by an access seeker, such as Fast Lane Finance, share that Personal Information with the access seeker.

The website of each credit provider contains details of each CRB with which it deals and other detail about Personal Information held about you and describes your key rights. This detail may be described on the credit providers’ websites as ‘notifiable matters’,
‘privacy policy’, ‘credit reporting policy’ or ‘privacy disclosure statement and consent’, and includes:

• That the CRB may include Personal Information the credit provider discloses about you to other credit providers to assess your credit worthiness;
• That, if you become overdue in making consumer credit payments or you commit a serious credit infringement, the credit provider may disclose that Personal Information to a CRB;
• How you can obtain the credit provider’s and/or CRB’s policies about managing your credit information;
• Your right to access and/or correct Personal Information held about you and to complain about conduct that may breach the privacy and credit reporting laws;
• Your right to request a CRB not to undertake pre- screening for purposes of direct marketing by a credit provider;
• Your right to request a CRB not to release Personal Information about you if you believe you are a victim of fraud

• We will be unable to assist you if it is determined that:
• You will be unable to meet the proposed repayments without suffering substantial financial hardship

What we need from you:
Under current NCCP regulations we are required to ensure that any loan we assist you in obtaining is not unsuitable to yourself. To ensure this we are required by law to make reasonable inquiries and verify that:

• The loan will meet your requirements and objectives;
• You will be able to meet the required repayments based on your current financial situation
• We will be unable to assist you if it is determined that:
• You will be unable to meet the proposed repayments without suffering substantial financial hardship
• The loan will not meet your requirements or objectives

For these reasons we may at times ask you for further information and it is essential that the information you provide us is accurate.
If we assist you in obtaining or applying for credit you may ask us for a copy of our credit assessment at any time within 7 years of us providing you with assistance.

Fees and Charges:
We may charge a fee for providing you with credit assistance. This fee will be disclosed prior to submitting your loan documents to a
lender. There are no other fees charged to you by us. You may be liable for other fees such as application fees to the Lender. These
fees are not payable if finance is not approved.

Commissions we may receive:
We may receive commissions from Lenders who provide finance to you as our customers. These commissions are not paid by you. You may obtain reasonable information from us of these commissions and how they are calculated. We may also receive Volume Bonus’s from lenders based on the volume of business we provide them.

Commissions we may pay:
We source clients and referrals from a variety of sources. At times we may pay a fee to third party for referring business to us. These fees or commissions are generally small amounts and are not paid by you. You may obtain reasonable information from us of these fees or commissions and how they are calculated.

The providing lender will then reimburse Fastlane upon settlement.
